Nissan micra - car trouble need some advise

     I bought a Nissan micra in 2003 brand new from a local nissan garage. The car was fine up until about a year ago. The engine alfunction light has kept coming on i have probably taken the car back and fore to the garage over 20 times where i have been fobbed off saying there is nothing wrong and they than just turn the light off. The did fit a few new sensors as they said they had gone and apparantly they changed some timing thing in the engine. I basicaklly got fobbed off everytime, the car has also spent a few weeks in the garage at a time where they have recko9nrd they have been looking for a problem but were unable to find anything. Now that the warranty has run out back in april they have found a problem apparantly the oxygen sensor has gone. i have looked this up online and it says that this can go over a period of time and isnt detected until the sensr actually goes. it can cause the light to come on and the petrol has been going down so quickly lately. I feel like the service i have received hasnt been very good and i just need some advise as they are wanting to charge me a few hundred for this to be done and it just annoys me because i feel it is an ongoing problem but i might be talking rubbish because i dont no all that much about cars. Please help me

You should write in to Nissan Uk and complain regarding the service you have received from that dealership. Ask them to fix the problem as a gesture of goodwill.
