            I don't think so Timmers, Smilie is a Scottish surname and a Tumshie in Scotland is an idiot (or a turnip literally, I think ) so that's why I wondered if it was a nickname, but still it's not the sort of nickname you use professionally as a newsreader! lol 0 ) so that's why I wondered if it was a nickname, but still it's not the sort of nickname you use professionally as a newsreader! lol 0

 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: awwwwww that's such a shame!
 When I lived in Glasgow I had an Asian neighbour and when she moved in we were introducing each other's children and she had a boy she introduced as "Massa Saheed" Using the trick of applying something to the name so you'll remember it I quickly thought "Right, remember his name.......think Massive Sore Heid" So I turned to my eldest son and said "Jamie, this is Massa Saheed, say hello." To which my neighbour said, "Sorry, my English not good, I said this is MY SON SAHEED" :o:o:o:o 0 :o:o:o:o 0
