Halifax student card

Hi all, I'm new to the forum but have been a subscriber for a couple of months.
I was just wanting to ask a quick question.
I currently have a Halifax Student credit card. I have 0% on purchases for 12mths, going upto 21.9% after this point.
Is this a good deal or does anyone know of anything better?

Also (probably on the wrong topic), I have an overdraft facility at Natwest. I have just exceeded it as I havent been able to get to the bank over xmas (pesky bank holidays!). Does anybody know how much I will be charged?

It's a good deal while it's 0%. It's probably around average to below average once the initial rate expires.

Make sure you can repay it before the year is up and then yes, it's a good deal!

Explain to them whats happened and why you were overdraft, if its your first time or you rarely get overdrawn, they will normally waive the fee. Otherwise, i believe its about £25, but they should let you off.

Just confirming - did you say Halifax Student credit card is 0% for 12 months? Where did you get the offer, as from what I know they don't do purchase periods on the Halifax Student Credit Card?
