Matsui £209 B rating

or this Beko one, for a little more, £249, but has AAA rating:

Any advice on the makes? Does the rating make that much difference?

Any advice welcome.

Also, I'm going to buy them through quidco and have a 5% voucher too.

Thanks,

  • As no one has replied, I would buy a Miele or Bosch, not much help but then again that's why no one has replied, those are too cheap?....?

we have a beko fridge freezer and washing machine. we have had no problems with either so we decided to buy their slimline dishwasher when we needed to replace ours last year. it was a lot cheaper than any of the others so we were a bit dubious but have to say its worked fine from day one, the short 40min wash is brilliant and we use that most of the time.

i know a lot of people say dont buy beko but i can only say we have had absolutely no problems with any of their appliances and would happily purchase beko anytime.

  • The UK Whitegoods site has good unbiased reviews, and is always worth a read before you buy any appliance.

  • The Matsui on got this response on the White good forum.

"How to break this to you gently......... You've got a Chinese Haier dishwasher with a badge stuck on the front. For £180, it's far too cheap to expect any sort of quality. First year failure rate is over 80% - any quality brand allows for 4%.

Just for fun, type "haier" into the search facility on this forum only and see what you get. Scary reading....... "

The Miele is the only dishwasher with a full width/depth but very shallow cutlery drawer and not an overcrowded little square basket that traps the gunge.

Great replies! I especially liked the review of the Matsui one:rotfl:

Unfortunately my budget is now stretched - but maybe I'll think again...

Thanks guys. You are all brilliant. I love MSE

I owned a matsui dishwasher and it lastes 3 years. I recemtly brought this from Electrical shop for £320 as it also comes with 5 year warranty and is over a £100 cheaper than anywhere else.

    Matsui anything is horrible, IME.

Dishwashers can be trouble. Save-up and buy the cheapest Bosch you can get.
