in Credit cards
Hi, Ild like to get a new credit card. Im very good with my finances, and so will pay it off in full each month. Im looking to get one purely to give me more protection when buying on the internet. Can anyone suggest any? Are there any cards that come with freebies? Is there anything I should bare in mind when getting a card (such as 0% transaction charges)?
thanks

Are you going to be spending much abroad?
Will you spend more than £3K in the year?
Is your annual income more than £30K?
Yes there are many cards that give you rewards either in cash or some other form.0 -
Hi lisyloo, in answer to your questions:
- I wont be spending abroad
- I most probably wont be spending more than £3,000 per year
- Yes, my annual income is more than £30k
There are so many credit cards available, so it would be good to get one which had no hidden charges and maybe offered an incentive to get it.0 -
Most have no charges provided you use them for goos and services (NOT cash) and pay off in full before the payment date (allow time for clearance and postage is necessary).
Personally I prefer cashback. Here's the relevant article.

Foreign currency and transferring money to gambling sites count as cash as does taking money out from an ATM, so stick to purchasing good and services and steer clear of cash.0
