If I've deleted something from Iplayer before watching the end of it, is there any way I can download it again? It doesn't seem possible and the wife is going to kill me for deleting the stricly come dancing final....

You should be able to get it from the BBC iplayer website. Then download it again to your desktop.
They keep the shows up for 30 days.
The Strictly Come Dancing Final is still up on the BBC iPlayer site (I use a diffrent method to get shows) but it should be possible to download it again...Laters

get_iplayer
That's what I use in my Linux machine...
Never tried to set up up in Windows (looked like hard work! lol)
But think there's a windows installer now that takes most fo the hard work out of the windows install!!
So google and get it! ^_^Laters

Installation is easy, it's using the command line to determine a programme's ID number that I had problems with. I ended up just sending the details of every programme available to a text file and using PSPad to read it.0

Hi
When using get_iplayer, if you try to download a programme that you've already downloaded, it gives you a warning.
Then it lets you download it again by using --force in the command.
I use get_iplayer with Ubuntu Linux. It works great using command line instructions.
