lost gas prepaid card

My pensioner neighbour has loast her purse and it contained her prepaid gas and electric cards. As the meters are outside she didnt leave the cards in the meter.

Swalec is shut for the holiday period - where can I get a replacement card from does anyone have a phone number?

You should be able to request a blank gas card from her shop she normally tops up. Remind her to put it in the meter for a minute before adding any credit.

It sounds like she has a token card for electric so I'm not sure about that. Contact her supplier as they may be open.

if you stay on the line to swalec after the we are closed message, do NOT take any options that say emergency you will either be put through to their out of hrs folk or be given information on how to speak to the out of hrs people. They are they I spoke to them today at work. that is for gas I cannot comment on electric

I work for the gas emergency service and take 100's of calls such as these each week and all companies apart from one have info after the close message for you as it is them you need to speak to about this.

thanks to all - I tried to hold on after the option announcements but the line was disconnected.
It is a bit like the water board - I reported a major leak in our street on Christmas day and they only came yesterday to dig the hole / seal the leak but they left the 10 ft deep hole unfilled and uncovered.
Perhaps the general condition of the nations water pipes are that bad that they only have enough time to dig the hole and move on the the next hole, leaving the hole to be filled in by Ron - later-ron.
We will probably still have the hole at easter.
