hi, just now my mum phoned me and let me know that she ordered me a indesit kd3e1w cooker
sure i think it is great she wants to treat me to a cooker but it is not like she is rich, i have a cooker at the moment it is just had a little rust and bubble on about 2 corners of the cooker, i guess where some heat has leaked from the cooker and done something to the paint, i think it has a little leak but i and my partner cook with it all the time and cooks the food and whatever ok
reason she ordered me a new one i think is because we was talking about it the other day, but if i was to save up and buy one it would have to be wider than my current one and more room inside the cooker so i can do much more than what i can do at the moment
i think she said it is £230 from additions or something like that and on a buy now pay febuary 2011, i am grateful but i think i want to tell her to cancel the order, what do you all? should i stick with this because large cookers that are a little wider and more room inside going to be much more expensive or what should i do, this is going to be a nightmare trying to decide what to do i think so i hope someone can help
if you are going to reply, please be serious
thank you

I'd go and talk to her and explain how grateful you are about the gift but that you really wanted a bigger cooker so could she cancel and maybe put the money in a savings account that you can add to until you have enough for the model you want.
Or.....
Refuse the delivery when it arrives and make an excuse to your mum saying you 'missed' the delivery and anyhow it's for the good because you wanted a bigger oven. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -
i keep also thinking though this though
what if the cooker is kind of same, like looks the same, apart from the indesit has a seperate grill and cooker and my beko just has a cooker and a little storage thing at the bottom for trays and things like that but in the long run is a better product
this is why this decision is a nightmare
i do not think she has the money, i think the point of it is because it is buy now pay later0 -
Why not ask if you can change the order for a bigger one, and you pay the difference, if its not to pay for till 2011 you have that much time to save up the difference and you at least wont cause any offence to your mum.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Could it actually be on sale? If so, it may be a very decent product for the money? I'd find out exactly what it is first.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

it is a indesit kd3e1w
tried looking for reviews, but have found none so far0 -
i had an indesit cooker, to be honest i had problems with it. there was an intermittent fault with the fan. and the temp controls werent acurate, others will have had no problems with them, just my opinion.
after numerous complaints they swapped it for a hotpoint and its been excellent.0
