Phone calls from creditors

  • I had another phone call this morning from LTSB but this time a nice on full of apologies and accepting the DMP even though they have not received the letter from CCCS, which i don't believe for one min. They have also stopped the interest he said for the total duration of the DMP. So a result but if they phone me one more time i will definitely sent FW letter.

I agree with all of the above.
I am now so comfortable talking to them on the phone I have a lot of fun with them. My favourite trick is to keep a bible next to my phone, say I am a Jehovah's Witness, and ask if they have found god yet, i then start quoting the Bible. Funnily enough, they always terminate the call and haven't rang back since.

Sorry this is completely off topic - but I just have to laugh at this one.

OP I hope you have managed to get the situation resolved to your advantage.

  • I have received 3 letters from LLoyds, 1 stating they are investigating my complaint, 1 saying they need more time and 1 this morning apologising and saying they are re training the woman who called me a liar about the info being sent to them for CCCS, proves to me they do record their calls. So a positive result and i'm pleased they took the time to reply as i thought they were just going to fob me off. :)
