I have both these installed, however their is no symbol anywhere, and its not working, if i click Adblock Plus "Options" i get this-XML parsing error---no options are listed.. If i get a pop-up, and right click i get no "Adblocker" options, so its obviously not insatalled properly. Ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling, any clues? Thanks.

The first thing I can think of is to remove it, and then check your profile folder to make sure that all trace of it's extension folder has been removed.
If it hasn't, then manually delete it and then reinstall the extension.
If that doesn't work, you could create a new fresh Firefox profile and try it with that?
It that should work, then the link below describes how to transfer the important data files from your old profile to the new. i.e. bookmarks, cookies, site permissions etc.......

That has worked well for me in the past when I've had some problems that didn't seem to be fixed any other way.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

> Finding the profile folder
Then in the "Extensions" sub-folder there should be folders called:
{d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d} for Adblock Plus
and
elemhidehelper@adblockplus.org for the Element Hiding Helper.
Also, any rules/subscriptions that have been created for Adblock are stored in the:
'adblockplus'
folder in the main profile directory. May be worth getting rid of that if it is there as well, so that you have a completely fresh start.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
