  • Hi,

I'm sorry i dont know anything thats really going to help but my mobile is £20 with o2.

Its their sim only Simplicity deal, i get unlimited text (i literally send thousands :o) and 600 minutes (10 hours)

I used to be with Virgin pay as you go but i was topping up with much more so this was a bargain for me.

My mum is also with o2 simplicity and pays £15 a month.

Good luck with everything in the future, there are lots of very clever and helpful people on here :D

Have you looked at the pay monthly SIMS for mobiles as this may reduce you mobile cost.

Is there any aspect of your OH's travel that can be avoided? ie, on days he doesn't have meetings could he use the bus instead? Or car share? He could even offer a lift to a work colleague, who doesn't drive, for a little less than they currently pay on public transport for their share of the petrol?

If your mobile phone bills are averaging 25 pm each, then it may be better to have a contract with minutes/texts included. Nothing fancy, just a basic package which would cover your usage.
