Also got some new teatowels from argos.....2 pack of 5 for 1.49 on the grabbit board!!
DS1 is away to meet his friends at a disco!! (he really doesnt do discos!!) so im in shock!! lol.....He is 15 now and was given a stern warning about the 3 Ds......
No Drink
No Drugs
No ..........I will leave that one as it only applied to girls (I have 5 sisters and no brothers The 3 Ds speech was always given before any one of us went out) DS1 just laughed and said sure your collecting me and im not stupid!!! I hope not!!!!
He put some weedkiller on the driveway just as it was getting dark then hopped into the shower!! So I gave him some money to get something to eat when he was out......His birthday was on xmas eve and he got a small fortune, but he has been quite helpful and i suppose it does no harm to reward him financially at times!!
DD has a toothache....lol and when i gave her some bonjella she asked could she have some cola.......erm no, she looked so disappointed but I told her thats the reason she has sore teeth!! she accepted that but when her wee cousin came over and asked for some shortbread she wanted some too and I had to say no again...

Also today I cleaned the patio with jayes fluid (is it just me or does anyone else like the smell of it??)

Valli will you be my mum again I decided I was doing so well with "living that life" and the only thing I was missing wasnt ready to come-so I thought Id prepare for God's timing rather than my own-I joined weight watchers 01 December and now I have a 6 week old bean in my tummy:j (oh-not facebook worthy yet )

After my mc in March I realy want to take it easy but there is so much to do so I need to be organised. I have an early scan booked for next week TUesday to check alls well. Printed off the flylady beginner babysteps today and made a ready reconer for the fridg-started with the sink. Also I ordered sink reflections (been wanting to read it for ages.) and made some pretty new dividers for my control journal this afternoon-want to start on it from scratch. Baby is due 2 September, which is the same week DS starts big school-so need to be sorted.
Soappie a book? Wow!

OMG I came on here at 8.00 to catch up and have only just finished reading all your posts. Note to self must do jobs before reading in future.

Now Wednesday is up. Oh well.
Monday almost all done will leave it there and on to Tuesday.
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe those worksurfaces[[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Put away the special crockery/glasses you got out for christmas NA
[STRIKE]Clean the hob and oven[/STRIKE] oven needs more attention.
[STRIKE]Clean out the fridge.. make a note of the lovelies you bought for christmas and have not yet eaten.. work it into a meal plan
Make stock/stew from leftovers[/STRIKE] Being a veggie household not so much to use up.
Level Three
[STRIKE]Clean and wipe the table, replace the cloth if necessary[/STRIKE]
Clean out the drawers which house the cutlery and the big utensils (ladles and such like!).. I just noticed mine are gross!
Dust and deweb
Wipe over the units and large appliances

well have tidied up the living room at little but have been at the shops from 9 until 7 so haven't really done much tonight.


Haven't caught up with the thread but notice that polkadot has come over to the not so dark side.

[STRIKE]Declutter floors.. take any unhomed presents away upstairs to their respective rooms[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum visible floors![/STRIKE] did that yesterday.
Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
[STRIKE]Vacuum hallway and right up the stairs[/STRIKE]
Sort out coats and bags etc.. wash any that need doing before we go back to school/work
Level Three
Wipe and water plants while dewebbing!
Wipe sticky marks from sofas and paintwork
Binbag dance!
Well level one done and some of level 2. Not bad for me. Wednesday here I come.

Declutter the floordrobe! - this will take a week or more.

Tidy a chest of drawers or a cupboard
Stash away all the christmas paper, presents etc for next year
Vacuum the floors
Level Three
Polish mirrors and windows
Put away all the bags and shoes that are lurking
Clear the bedside units/tables/bookpiles
Extras

1. Sort through a box of gibble
2. dust and deweb
3. Straighten the linen/towel cupboard
4. Do a small job you have been putting off for weeks and weeks

11. sort out craft stuff and find a home for it all, text MIL and ask her to please stop buying the bleeding stuff!
12. Post any parcels/letters that need doing - DvLA letters check weight first.

Moving in somewhere new means I have already had a huge declutter and have tidied things as I have put them away so havent got too much clutter- yet! Night all See you in morning!

Thanks your Highness I was in danger of losing the will to carry on - what with the extra people joining and the chatting its no wonder the newbies get scared off!!!:rotfl: I can barely keep up and I am here more than most!!! I didnt want to say anything as it is still the holidays though.

It's going to be at least another month before it's anywhere near ready as a complete good read I fear but because it's made up of discrete bits I could send the odd finished bloke out on a sort of drip feed basis.

It's the actual design of the beast I'm now fretting about. But I suppose once I find a publisher, they'll be able to help with that. I want to include pictures and little snippets which could be put in little boxes to the side of the main blurb and it's the positioning of those that I'm not too sure about.

You still have to be careful, even when they're dead (in one of my jobs we did libel training twice a year as we were so good at libeling people ). Depending on how well written it is, and whether there are any image rights, you should be able to go from manuscript to distribution in 6 weeks, but that's usually only when you're in a real hurry. Most publishers don't like doing things that quickly. Some publishers also still use manual indexing, but typesetting is a doddle now compared to how it used to be... you can just import from word (I started with asci coding which was tedious beyond belief!
