I'm using checkmyfile.com to check my credit score, and checkmyfile always suggest me to request a credit card from Vanquis, but every time I tried to apply online I just get a message like this: "Unfortunately we are unable to provide a credit card to you, blah blah blah"
What's wrong ?

I would say for whatever reason your credit rating is so low that you do not even qualify for a Vanquis card. It may also be the case that they are not issueing many cards at the moment and you are one of the unlucky ones.0 -
Do you know how much score do I need to get a credit card from them?0

Being honest i have no idea. I have read by many on here that the actual
score you and i would see on say equifax has no relation to the way the lenders lend. From what i gather it's their own lending criteria you have to meet. What this is in it's entirety i do not know, but i know things like are you on the electrol roll etc do come into it.0 -
Do you know any credit Card company which provide Credit Card for someone like me?0

LordSamuel,
I guess the reason you were declined was that, as in your other thread, you said you just moved. From the post itself, I wasn't entirely sure if it's to a new UK address or to an overseas address.
If it's an overseas address almost no credit card companies will offer you a new credit card.
If it's an UK address, I guess the combination of just moving to a new address, coupled with not being on a current electoral roll will be the reason behind it!
You asked about other card companies: Capital One and Barclaycard Initial maybe able to help.0 -

No i don't to be honest. My first response would have been Vanquis. You might be able to get a Capital One classic card but i am sure thir limits are very low.
If you wait i am sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon to better advise you.0 -
I think you should leave creditcards alone if you can't get one then you certainly can't afford one.
i have learned to live without these evil things'i am happy now for the first time in years0 -
I just want to use credit cards to increase my credit score!0
