Laptop screen has started to roll any idea?

Hi my son bought his own laptop in August of this year. He likes to play Runescape and also look on youtube for cheats/tactics for his ps3 games. About a week ago the screen started to scroll/ roll/blink while playing Runescape. If he moves the laptop it will stop. This is now happening when he watches youtube videos.
Any ide what this could be please?

Could be the invertor. I would get it repaired under warranty ASAP.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0
