    Hi all,

Had a bit of a naff afternoon cos DS got burnt at school with some custard and wasn't given any proper first aid. So I'm half upset half angry at the mo. He's okay now, been to the DR's and had it dressed and cleaned properly.
What's made me most mad is that the dinner ladies wiped his arm with a used dish cloth and sent him out of the room. We're both horrified.

Anyway, needed to have a little vent sorry.

Finally got an update, my Mum and Dad and their friends are giving my DH £60 for dropping them at the airport at the weekend  woop. Need it for living money tbh but I will still add it as extra money in.

    xx

50p to add from a review on holidays uncovered via Moneyback Madness - trying to get to payout level on there at the moment

I recycled some broken jewellery via work on this site:
    http://www.scrap-gold-buyers.co.uk/212/Scrap_Gold_Prices_per_gram.html
and they were good and quick. Price dropped between me sending items and them receiving them so the amount dropped by a couple of pounds but overall a good experience I think so I probably would recommend them if anyone wants to sell gold. The price is only £7.20 at the moment when the real value is nearly £8 at present so its your call whether you think thats a good enough price or not

An auctioneer friend of mine is investigating some other gold buyers for me so if he finds a good outlet I'll let you all know

Oh and some eBay items finished tonight, two of which were really good sales for me (stuff sitting in wardrobe for ages) so I will be posting those and adding them tomorrow

£10 from scratchcards arrived in my account :) Also got a few bottles of half price shampoo etc at Mr S saving £5.71 and got some reduced bits saving £1.09.

    So £16.80 to add :D

ETA - sweetpeas - Glad your DS seems ok but I think you should make a complaint about it. The way they treated him is unacceptable and school's should have policies and practice in place to ensure the proper treatment of any injuries. Feel free to moan - I would!
