  • bit of an update..remembered I had a few beatrix potter models in a box at my parents in my old bedroom - about 5 of them.. sold them on ebay - and made about £50 in total - need to pack up and send tomorrow but am getting there.
Old clothes next i think... have done handbags, dvds, gold., old mobile. so I reckon clothes will have to be te next task!
Will add my beatrix potter money once I've sent them off x

NMS - I can't believe how well you've done with this challenge. I've been looking at your sig and you've done over £500. That's fantastic. And its your first month isn't it. It just shows what we can do when we put our minds to it. We're amazing. The whole lot of us. Well done everyone.

does anyone on here write on dooyoo and on ciao? any tips on how ciao works? I posted a review on there ages ago and it says I have £2.05...?!?! how do I get more, how did I get that, and how can I get it?!!?
Thank you! Can't wait to join the feb challenge!
  • I've reached £470.16 after fees/postage from my clearout this month - many old DVDs through the 'for sale' noticeboard at work (my first choice, as it's free of postage and fees!), ebay and Amazon, plus I got £60 cash on collection via ebay for an old PC that has been sitting in a cupboard since I replaced it last year (running XP professional, which apparently made it desirable!), £28 for its monitor and £20 for an old DVD player. Coming to the trailing edge of the clutter, although there's a little more still to go up and about £80 from quidco that's tracking but not yet paid out.

No O/T at work at the moment, but a couple of schemes that might yield a bit of extra cash there - payment is pretty slow though. Christmas will have built up some tesco clubcard points that can go on ebay too, the last ones went for over 2.5x face value before Christmas. So I can see £10/day through to the end of March maybe, need to start getting other things lined up to keep going after that.

Well done to everyone who has reached/is close to target, don't think I will quite make it this month but still have a lot more to show than I expected!

I've another £30 to add to my total today - My last day at work (leaving to be a SAHM) and they bought me some lovely presents and £30 of gift vouchers. Bit cheeky adding it to my total but they're gardening vouchers so will save me money over the next few months (allotment).

So, I've made my target ! Never thought it possible so thank you to all those who've inspired and given ideas.

I'm looking forward to February now !

Found 5p on the floor last night - buried in the rug:eek: Also have 1500 consumerpulse points to add - I have nearly enough for 3 vouchers:j

I shall go for £10 again next month and for every month after that.

Thanks Purple for doing the thread this month and for Sweetpea for next month - would volunteer myself but am not around much these days.
