Question re Egg Card

I currently have a debt of around £5,000 on an Egg card at a rate of 1.385 %.
I am hoping to get a job in the new year and would like to get this debt paid of quickly once I have a steady income.
What I wondered was whether I should apply for a 0% card or stick with this one?
If I should apply for a 0% card, how long after I get a job will they accept my application?
(I am not a homeowner so no assets as such).
Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry but without a job, home or assets, I think you are unliekly to get a 0% card.
Try to keep up minimum payments if there is any way you can.0 -
I wont apply for anything until I get a job but I am planning ahead - what I meant was, once I have a job (pay will be around £25k) should I apply or just pay off the card Ive got?0
