Hi
I visit an elderly lady and she would like to be in touch with a man who she once knew & he was a very deer friend off hers and they lost touch via a sad situation , it would make her christmas if she could contact him , she is 80 so iam doing the best i can for her but dont know where to start
he was in the navy and will be aged 78 , she thinks he may be in Newcastle
does anybody have any idea where i could start looking online ?
Thanks

Try the British Legion - they may helpLight travels faster than sound - that's why you can see someone who looks bright until they open their mouth.0

If the guy was in the Navy, he may well be getting paid a Naval pension, in which case the Navy should have his contact details already. I'm pretty sure a similar system operates in the other Services.
There will be a department somewhere who will deal with this - perhaps someone from the Naval admin side can help out? Or anyone in Pay Pol in Main Building?
The normal protocol I believe is that you give them all of the details and they then contact the individual concerned on your behalf and leave it up to him to decide to make contact.0 -
