Travelodge - consecutive bookings?

Has anyone any idea how accommodating Travelodge staff are if you make separate consecutive one day bookings (at the same Travelodge)? Will they let you stay in the same room and treat it as a single booking?

I guess they could kick you out at 12 and not let you back in until 3, but is it really in their interest to do this - they'd have to change all the linen etc.

I'm considering this not only because it would save money - some days are SuperSaver days - but also because I'm not sure if we can make the first night and their T&Cs say if you miss the first night you forfeit the whole period you've booked (if booke as one lot).
