AAArgh....Got the rediraction virus again and cannot get rid of it.

    Unfortunately yes the redirection is still happening.

    Also, when I open a new tab in firefox/IE this seems to generate a new window to open and 10 different tabs open up within this new browser window.

    Restore MS Hosts - Restores the hosts file to Microsoft's original hosts file

    out of interest can you name one of the sites it redirects to ??

    OP ~ thats not the WHOLE of the combofix log. Can you please open C drive and find 'combofix.txt. and post the whole of the log (Split into sections if need be)
