Another one for me today, tomorrow will most likely be a spend as the car's nearly out of petrol. Apart from filling up I'm doing pretty well and will meet my target of 15 this week :j

So I'm going to up my target to 25 please! Really need to get my debts sorted out this year as they're starting to drag me down a lot :o

  • Hello

No NSD's for me this weekend.......

Friday turned out to be NSD afterall as BF offered to do shopping (and I paid him back on Saturday). Not sure if that is officially cheating but does this face look bovered? ;)

Saturday was quite a large SD for me as I had my MOT and Major Service. Car was fine - no repairs required and both service and MOT had been budgeted and money put away for. However the bacon butty I bought whilst I was waiting was not. I had to get up practically in the middle of the night as the Garage was 50 mins away and they wanted me there !!!!-a-doodle-doo (However they were £70 cheaper than my local garage for same standard of service!!!!). Couldn't stomach breakfast that early but come 9.30 I was on the verge of knawing on my own arm. I was directed by the mechanic to a farm shop that had a cafe.

It was the poshest farm shop I had ever seen and I could have run amok spending money on all manner of unnecessary biscuits, cheeses, chutneys, dressings, olives, venison, smoked meats and pork pies OH MY GOD they had magnificent pork pies.........but I didn't. I was however horrified by the Breakfast prices. A Sausage and Bacon butty was £7. No seriously. Anyway I opted for the cheapest butty 'Best Bacon' at £5!! However I do have to say that it really was a fabulously delish butty and the best bacon I had ever tasted.

Afterwards we went to a Bird of Prey centre and BF paid the small fee to get in but after listening to the plight of the seriously endangered Asian Vulture I did purchase a 'Save the Vulture' wrist band (And I assure you, you would have done too!)

Saturday night was the theatre - tickets had been my birthday present to BF so already paid for ages ago but there was rip-off parking and rip-off but delish interval ice-cream

Today was a food shop but did my research at mysupermarket.com (thanks BigMummaF) and stuck religiously to my list without getting distracted by offers I don't need and foods I lust after :T

Next couple of days, I should be able to notch up a couple of NSD's and I have plenty of meals in freezer

Good luck to you all and have a great week

Please can i join in? I had a NSD today (if you don't count what i spent after midnight when i was out last night ;)) I'd rather start on a NSD than admit to the horrendous amount of money i splashed out yesterday! I think that's psychologically healthier and certainly more motivational! Cheers all - good luck.

15 days for me please :)
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

  • curlygirl1971 £7 for a bacon and sausage butty! Glad you went for the cheaper (but delicious) option. ;):D

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend! Hope you have a good week.
  • Didn't leave the house yesterday and today only ventured out for a walk so 2 more NSD's:j. That only leaves two to get so very doable. Looks like I'll need to increase my target next month.

I had a spend day today unfortunately, but tomorrow should be a NSD if I can get out of my car service. In fact, for the rest of the week, until Thursday, I am going for NSDs.
