GRRRH, have had to drop my NSDs to 7 from 8 as DH informed me yesterday that he bought two new tyres for the mini on the 5th, which I had marked as an NSD!
Oh well, there is still plenty of time to get the reamaining 8. Hopefully this weekend will be fully spend-free, so two more to the total, but wont add them until they actually happen!
My car wouldn't start on Thursday and its flat battery has been charging ever since. I used DH's mini yesterday (my frist trip out this year!) as he was home with DS2's bad cold. Think I may be coming down with it too...hmphff! Hope to get the battery back in today/tomorrow so I will be mobile on Monday again. If not, we could well have to think about getting a "new" car....would rather not thank-you very much!!
I popped into Mr T yesterday after seeing a friend in the afternoon and ended up doing a BIG shop...struggled to get everything into the trolley (and then into the car!), but am pretty pleased with everything I got. There are one or two omissions that we can do without until Monday, which will be a spending day anyway.
This NSD challenge is fairly making us think about not only what we spend, but when.
Right, off to update my siggie, have a good weekend everyone....our snow has all gone now!, our garden looks a right mess, not sure I will be up to doing much though!!

Last Sunday was a NSD and so was Wednesday which takes me up to 8 I think. Today we're getting a curry (takeaways and lunch at work are my downfall
) but we have food planned for tomorrow and I'm not leaving the house so fingers crossed tomorrow should be number 9! There's still 15 days of January left and I only need 2 more NSDs

Oi You
You copied my post! :rotfl:
Oops, sorry BigMummaF:o, it's only because your words of wisdom are so inspirational that I can't get them out of my head.... (might have dug myself out of that hole, possibly)
Hi everyone,
Another NSD for me today mainly because, like most of you lovely people on here, I haven't left the house today - been working all day, unfortunately..
Everyone's doing really well though, this snow must be hitting the retailers quite badly if us lot can resist the urge to spend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Have a good Sunday everyone and hugs to anyone needing them

NSD number 6 today!! :j I decided not to leave the house today and instead go and get bits that I might need tomorrow; this has given me a boost because it's a great feeling having 3 NSDs in a row and i'm half way to my target now.:D
Have a lovely weekend, all!0
