Another NSD here, that makes 4 !! Go me ! lol :j

    3 in a row which is a first :o

Tomorrow, however, I have to get some supplies in. Run out of bread, milk, eggs, all the usual suspects. Not helped by kids being at home and eating everything in site ! I just hope the stores haven't been swooped on by the panic buyers, I only need a few bits but I bet i'll have trouble getting what I want

6 more days to go, hopefully get 2 of those under my belt at the weekend. :D

  • my first proper NSD! feels great, but surprising how much i actually felt it - i know it sounds sad, but i definitely could tell i hadn't done something!

breaking lots of habits with coffee shops, snacks and lunches! good for money and my tummy :-)

    - but as we're forecast to have more snow over the weekend, think I will just have to hit the bottle instead

Yay!!!! Let's all get sloshed together - all the snow & icebound Frugalee's meet here at 7pm tomorrow night

I can bring Whiskey (in stock purely for medicinal purposes), Port (it was a present BigMummaF), Tia Maria (Bought in duty free about 8 years ago) and a bottle of out of date Baileys (but who cares!)

Who am I kidding. One sniff and I'm sliding off the sofa

I wonder if the Whiskey would unblock my drain?

Well I am at 3 out of 12 so far, but I really want another one over the weekend but think that Sunday is my only hope for that. So I hope to make the following days this next week NSDs - Sunday 10th, Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th, fingers crossed will keep my signature updated as I go, well done to everybody else!
  • NSD for me today :T

Have to say "hello" :hello:to piratefairy, brokeinwales, moneysavingmonkey85 and candygirl - the lovely people on this forum are inspiring and fun and it's nice to have more people!

Violetvision - I know that "NSD achieved!" feeling too and I'm with you on the coffee shops, snacks and lunches... heaven knows how much I was wasting on these before I joined the moneysaving family. And I get such a buzz each time I log in to record how I'm doing.

And thank you Keiss21 - pasta and cheese sauce is proper comfort food and I've not made it in ages, so that is going on my food plan for the coming week. Oooh I'm looking forward already...

I've totally broken the bank today - I've now just spent another £2.12 on 6 bags of whoopsie shopping! Should feed a family of 4 for a week though!!!!

    NSD for me again :)
  • Good evening

Just a quick update from me. I've had 9 NSDs so far this month, but had a spend today when I couldn't resist a lovely cup of Starbucks coffee this evening on the way home as it is cold, there's snow and ice everywhere and I hate having to fight my way to work at the moment and then again fight my way home every night, so felt like I needed a treat lol, anyway, not to bad still 11 to go but with 17 days until my next payday on the 25th I should be ok, hopefully ;o)

    Cheers
