PC to TV via HDMI - keep loosing signal - help?

Hi, I have my Acer PC connected to my Wharfedale TV to use as a monitor. It is connected by a HDMI cable. It has been fine for the past 6 weeks but the last few days I have been experiencing problems. It will be working fine and then suddenly the tv screen goes blank and the message says HDMI - NO signal. I have checked the cables are in correctly etc so can't understand why I keep loosing the HDMI connection.

I can't afford to buy a new PC monitor so would be grateful of any advice/ideas as to how I can fi this or why it's happening? :confused:

    What OS are you using? has the Pc & Tv got a VGA port and if yes have you tired using that.

    It's Windows Vista. Not tried the VGA ports as not got a lead.

    Try updating the drivers for the graphics, might just be a sync issue.
