HP 2410 Started to Print Very Slowly

Any idea guys why my Hewlet Packard 2410 All-In-One Ink Jet Printer has started to print very slowly? It draws the paper in and then starts thinking about it and does a tiny bit and then thinks about it again and does a tiny bit again etc.

It worked absolutely fine until yesterday. i haven't changed any cartridges and rely on the printer alot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try resetting it. Check the manual?

I think the procedure is to hold down # and 9 while plugging in the power cable.

Also try a different USB port as the one it's on may have experienced a problem and dropped to full speed as opposed to high speed, rare but possible!
  • Thanks dehaani. I tried all those things but it still won't work properly.
  • I fixed it!! I just gave the inside a jolly good clean and now its working again. Happy days!!
