Sky Plus Box wont record

Hi,

My brother's sky plus box will not allow programmes to be recorded into the planner. Ive reset and rebuilt the planner and that did not solve the problem. I rang Sky and they have no idea why it wont record. I had this problem before and Sky sent a signal which corrected the issue but they are refusing to this now :rolleyes:. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem myself?

Is he in a communal development sharing a satellite? If so he will only be able to record the channels he is wayching. With a communal shared dish you only have one feed to record from so therefore you cannot record and watch another channel at the same time.
