Advice please with car insurance

Hi everyone hope someone can advise me on car insurance for my DD.

Background....
Daughter,student, learning to drive has just got a 10 year corsa 1.0.
Car & insurance to be in her name.
I have been driving x number of years, own car, full NCD.

My questions.
Would it be be possible for me to be named driver on her insurance (would occ drive car - various reasons.)
Would this result in cheaper car insurance for her.
Would any accident she has affect my NCD.
Recommend any company that may do this.

Yes it would be.

Depends on the company.

Not at all as the insurance will be in your daughters name not yours. If you have an accident in her car it wont affect your NCD but you have to tell your insurance company that you had an accident but not in the car you own.

Recommend any company that may do this.
I woudl say have a look around. Go to your existing insurer first to give them a chance then have a look on comparison websites. I would say try out the big name insurers as they have the better reputation last thing you want is the cheapest to be the worst insurer! Also when looking at doing this see if they accept the pass plus if so how much that could save you if your daughter has a full licence then some may allow you a set amount of time to get it and give you a discount to begin with!
