Surround Sound Advice

Hi all,

We would like to buy a blu ray player and surround sound system to go with a Panasonic g10 plasma.

Would it be advisable to buy a 1 box 'package' or to buy an AV receiver and a set of speakers? Max budget is £400. Room size is 4m by 4m square, with one wall fully open.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

My last was a Teac AV reciever to replace my old one but useing my existing Technic's speakers.
I can highly reccomend them!

Panasonic telly remote will be of use with one of these .

Id buy a seperate receiver as the 'one box' solutions NEVER have enough inputs
