i havent got any topcoat or basecoat, could i maybe justify a purchase on the basis that it will help me to my quest to use up the varnishes i have???:D

Absolutely - buy a dirt cheap ordinary clear nail varnish - it doesn't need to be anything fancy after all....! ;)

Makeup from 2006??? I have makeup from the late 90s!!! :rotfl:

I can probably go a decade older than that in eyeshadows! I have a M&S tin box of about ten eyeshadows which was Mum's originally - it's still got the "St Michael" branding and it's been a while since they used that for anything other than food! :o My usual rule is that mascara I'm pretty careful with - foundations in a pot would be the same, although I usually use a pump bottle. Facial moisturisers also I'd not want to keep around for too long, but in honesty I don't see that there is much to go "off" in a powder product.

Before I forget to mention, tonight I have had a lovely soak in the bath and have used up a bottle of Radox solutions bubble bath - WIBA? Chance would be a fine thing as I think they have stopped making it. It was the most beautiful shimmering gold - looked lovely and smelt really nice. If I found it again I might well buy, yes.
Also finished a Chanel Biphase eyemakeup remover sample - found this the other day when trawling through travel stuff. WIBA? - at £19.50 a bottle - NO! Not bad stuff, felt lovely and soothing to the eyes in use, but I simply could not justify that price.

Aha, more Irish! I'm Irish, but i love a good bargain :) (Live in England though, so i might have picked it up since moving here...)

    Right, confession time :embarasse...
I took a little wander at lunchtime and bought Castor Oil (£1.13) and Jojoba Oil (£10.25) for OCM. Ooops. I do have plenty of cleansers etc, but have problem skin. I'll still use my cleansers as body wash and on days i'm not using OCM (they're all pretty gentle), but I really want to try it!

£11.38 duly added to my savings pot to punish myself...:A

The jojoba oil is very expensive, I'm using almond oil from Sainsbury's £1.69 for 250ml. Does the jojoba have any special recommendations?

Was in boots and got some toothpaste, 59p and 3 x wrinkle reducing night serum (rrp £6 each). The serums were reduced to £1.50 each and I used my skinnie and a 50 points when you buy any 'smile' product. So the serums were free and the toothpaste 9p.

    I still didn't buy a magazine though ;):D
Actually, I think that really deserves a " Well Done!" :T

Mags, I'm a bit jealous at your Trilogy prize! I'm using the Trilogy Everything Balm atm at night on my face and it's gorgeous. I'll definitely buy it again.

For all of you girls out there with stressed or sensitive skin, I can also really recommend Avene. I won a huge set last year and have only just started using it, but it's left my skin in the best condition it's been in in quite some time.

Never did get my pamper night tonight, I got in from work, sat down to watch Celeb BB with a glass of wine and that was it!

Btw I'd take Mr Depp over George and Brad any time :rotfl:

judgejaq - I love Avene too, especially the super sensitive cleanser. It is just gorgeous. La Roche Posay and Vichy are fab too.

Johnny Depp? You can have him. :rotfl:

Ooh, I LOVE to tango :)
I prefer the Argentine version, though. It's so nice to dance, and all of the people I've met that dance it are lovely too :)

Have a wonderful night at your ball!
OH said the Argentine is far too dangerous with my feet between his legs!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
