No buying new toiletries etc until.....

another day passed and I've bought nothing new *yay me* I did see the body shop email and clicked on the website but turned it off ust as quick when daling OH reminded me that I don't actually need anything - Since when has it every been about need! Also avoided boots, quite a tall order having got into the routine of popping in daily building up to the 75% sale (thank god that's over!!)
Still feeling tempted by the S&G offer but hopefully it will pass soon.
I miss buying things too, but I'm going to save £5 in a pot each week I don't give in and I'll have £65 at the end of the 90 challenge I've set for myself*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
At long last I have used up the Sanctuary Mande body scrub! :j WIBA? No - I haven't really come across a Sanctuary product that I don't like before but this one really wasn't for me. Not scrubby enough for my taste and so thick in texture it is a nightmare to wash off. On a similar line I have also finished a sachet of Sanctuary Soothing foot lotion - WIBA? Not a good night for Sanctuary as this is another no. I suspect it is to do with me also being in the gang who prefer creams to lotions more than anything else. IMO Avon do far better foot creams at a much more inviting price!
One of the things I found when I was sorting stuff out was the dregs of a tube of P&P serum. Having used it the past two days I've remembered how much I like it!I think I'm going to go and buy a tube at the weekend - I still have a couple of the £5 snowie vouchers to use so one of those will drive the cost down a bit. The dregs in the existing tube will last a few more days at best and I don't have any other serums in my stash and it does make sense to buy it while the voucher can still be used.
I have put the much recommended Avon Brown Sugar body scrub out to use next - it smells gorgeous!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

It's a great feeling when you use them up, isn't it - it's quite addictive :rotfl:
Yeah, it definitely is. It's almost as good as the rush I get from buying new stuffbut mainly because I know I only have another 1563 products to go until I can buy some new stuff :rotfl:
Body Shop butter is tempting me soo much. I've never tried it before, but really want to try the hemp and shea butter ones.0 -

Madam Nab,
can we get back to the serious business at hand:D
I really nearly weakened today in Boots. Its that lift and luminate, it keeps calling me. The foundation is lovely, so is the eye cream. Their new spring make up is beautiful especially the lipsticks. And they have this lovely wrinkle filler that has such a lovely texture. I know the prescriptives magic potion does not really do its job but I am just so tempted at the thought of polyfilla for my wrinkles. I am weakening, can someone help me please?:o
I am going to go and look through my massive stash and I am sure I will have similar products that I have forgotten about. But ..............0 -

Seriously, there has been an immense amount of amazing offers recently. I bet us addicts are causing The Body Shop's profits to plummet, and that's why they're pushing out brilliant offers like this to make us go astray!
I'm going to take off my makeup and paitn my nails. Need something to distract me:o:o

What is toner good for? I've used it many a time but not quite sure what it's doing for me, and the bottle is happy to be vague.
Went into Boots before work today to spend my 2 No7 vouchers, hoping to get the moisture gloves and glasses case, but rubbish little store has nothing useful accessory-wise. Ended up getting the wipes again (so lovely) and the shimmering lip and eye screen, spf 30. Smells like the cheap lipstick my mom used to wear, so that's not so good, but it looks kinda nice.
Also went into Superdrug after, and near the till I was looking at the average sized Palmolive shower milks for £1, and the huge bottles of bath milk underneath for the same price. Although, almongst the bath milks, there were a few shower milks of the same size mixed in, seems a SA may have got confused (unless they are really only £1) That would make the huge bottles and the average bottles of shower milk the same price, and yet I resisted! Only have like 19 shower gels to use up...
So, not a bad day. I am tempted by the Dove aerosol offer at Asda with coupons.. I do have quite a few antiperspirants already but most are nearly empty. At least it's something I'll always need, and gets used up pretty quickly.. That's my reasoning anyway.0 -
Hi Sales addict, madam Nab here:D, go to your handbag and hide your credit cards right now. Think of the money you will save, it could go towards a giant George Clooney (or whoever) poster for above your bed :rotfl:.
Seriously though No7 is always on some sort of promo, so do you really need it right now when your stash is heaving??
Sold a few bits on ebay, which is great but still finding bits of stash hidden away that im gonna list, especially makeup, i do wear it but quite minimal, so its making me feel guilty looking at my huge stash of eyeshadow, blush and foundation.
Nab
xxYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I've found LOADS of clarins, clinique, origins, space NK trials from a thing they were doing at bluewater, along with a full size bottle of the blue clarins perfume. Also found lingerie unworn so will list on eBay.
OMG, when I was a student I used the cheapest stuff I could find, I was sooo skint! :rotfl:CompletelyLost wrote: »That is such good advice about bulk buying stuff that you've never tried before... I am guilty of it, too. I think another problem with bulk buying is that once you've got through your 11th bottle of the same shampoo/conditioner/*insert product here* you are SO sick of it that you never want to use it again!
Temptation set in again today... this time it was in B&M. They had Benefit body wash for £1.79. I'm not much of a body wash/bubble bath person, but it caught my attention as it seemed cheap? I didn't buy it though!
I would have bought it! :rotfl:rosemary54 wrote: »going to make a mini make up kit in a small purse to go in evening bags,am I getting carried away with this???I have a tiny mascara, lipstick and perfume, all I need to touch upand all free with bonus gifts

Faelia - toner is for removing the extra dirt from your skin, I think. That's what I used to use it for, anyway... I don't use it anymore though, as I found all the ones I tried were really drying out my skin.0
