Ski/Board Holiday help!

We're looking to book a week(ish) skiing somewhere, which sounds easy but we're struggling to do it within budget
So I'm hoping to pick fellow MSE people's brains on where we could go, anywhere in the world for around £400 including the ski passes mid March.
We've got the clothes but we'd need to hire the boards but that's outside the £400.
Any ideas would be great as we're getting a bit depressed at our holiday hopes- is it even possible to leave the UK for under £400?
Cheers in advance for all suggestions!

Don't know if you found a holiday yet, but Iglu skli is a good site for getting an idea of prices. There are prices around £250 / £300 mid march to decent resorts from London. Lift passes in Europe will be steep cause of the poor Euro. Some of these prices are dependant on 4 sharing mind you.
If there are only 2 of you, then you might want to try for a last minute. A couple of years back we got last minute full board from Scotland to Alp d'huez for £280 including lift pass. Deal of the decade in my book! The deal only appeared four days before we'd booked time off so you do take a risk.

Latest Travel Deals lists lots of ski travel deals and currently has a good ski fitness video of tips from Olympic skier Graham Bell for anyone preparing to hit the slopes - http://www.latesttraveldeals.co.uk - looks a bit energetic for right after Christmas mind!0

have a look at lastmin.com under finland and see what comes up, leave the dates open too for more options, you will find it will come up with yllas and levi as being cheap but you may have to pay for underusage of the cabins, I would also suggest that out of the two resorts you choose levi as the ski bus is free and the slopes are walking distance
then try inghams for their lapland specials/deals and you will also find something good there, lift passes for finland is about £130 each depending on where you go, yllas is lovely but the bus does add to the cost, saariselka is amazing but only has 12 runs but the snow will be fab, levi is your best bet as it will probably suit you as there is lots to do there
If your budget is £400 each then you will be able to do it for that price, one thing to remember is that it is expensive when you get there so take food with you etc0 -
Weve been to mayrhofen, Austria twice in the past and it usually works out at about £500 for everything in Jan so maybe in march in may be cheaper. have a look at thomas cook and neilson.0
