Currently looking for a VW 2.5 Touareg Altitude (around 2006 model) Been looking at the prices for a simular ages/condition/miles etc and the vary greatly. From a VW dealer at £20k down to Car Giant (!) at £16.5k

My question is when you purchase your cars do you go private, independant or franchised dealers? Also do you ever purchase an independant warranty?
