Can anyone name me a good adapter for my new pc, but this is a large house and it is quite far away from my buffalo netowrk router....cheers

Do you mean wireless or wired, i generally always stick to netgear products because i've never had issues.
Although all products are meant to conform to a set of standards i've seen issues having one companies G product work with another G product etc, so if your going wireless i'd suggest you stick to the same brand.
I always prefer just to run ethernet cable in my house though and keep everything running on ethernet, its faster and less prone to interference, but does require drilling holes and running cable.0 -

Have had a netgear DGN2000 for a couple of months now and find it really good. So much more reliable than my previous CISCO Linksys.0

This is a low range adapter which once set up (easy) works just fine. Remember this is a low range product so will not reach over big distances with walls and floors in the way.
this has prompted me to ask this question.
My router is a buffalo air station turbo GNever put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0
