Recived my first credit card today 22.06.06. The issue date on the card states 06.06.06. Why is the issue date before I even applied for the card??
Secondly, does this mean the 9mths intrest free period end 9mths from the issue date (06.06.06)?
Also in the process of setting up a Current acount (NationwideFexacount) to benifit from no-charge tranactions etc in Europe.. Is there a min to pay into this account monthly? and can I set one up without cancelling my existing current account with Barclays?
Thanx in advance!!!

Both cards work for no-fee overseas ATM withdrawals (althougn the Visa Debit card can also be used for no-fee overseas purchases).0 -

The definition of how long is "9 months" seems to vary between card companies. You will probably need to contact Nationwide and ask about your account specifically. ie. "When does the 9 months start and when does it end?"0 -
Their Credit cards terms & conditions state clearly:
Introductory rates apply for 9 months on purchases and 12 months on balance transfers, from the date the account is opened.0 -

It only says 06/06 on the card, sorry to confuse you!!
Thanx0
