Jo_F can you post some pics of your fimo fruit and food, would love to see them. Are you making them as jewellery or as doll house minitures?0
-
Sparkly, I am making them as jewellery, as they are most definately not real sized, then I figured if someone had trouble telling them from the real thing, then they had some serious issues that needed addressing. These are the ones on my photobucket account, but I have also done some orange slices, some hotdogs and some 1/2 melon slices0

Love all the miniature food items! So cute.
Great makes everyone. What a talented lot you are.
Nichelette was it you who linked to that crafters forum a few posts ago? (apologies to whoever it was if not nichelette). I saw a necklace on there that was supposed to look like seaweed (the Black Sea necklace) and it was breath-taking. I wish I could do that.
Sparklygirl, yes please, I would like a tutorial if you get the time to do one.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -

Thanks for the feedback, it's really appreciated.
nic2075 I bought the little frames for the Alice charms from this seller on Etsy and the file of picture inserts from this seller. The seller sends the picture file by email and you print it out on photo paper, you then cut out the pictures you want and insert them in the frames. They are then covered in a product called diamond glaze and left to harden overnight. If you can't be bothered with making them yourself though the first seller I linked to sometimes has some readymade.
Kandipandi I initially bought a bag of small watchparts from Steampunk Alice the first seller I linked to above on Etsy, but since then I have bought some whole mechanical watch movements from ebay - no particular seller, just search in watch parts. I have found some interesting brass bits and bobs from dichro findings I have also bought some nice bits and pieces including clasps from Steampunk Alice. Sanctuary beads on ebay seem to be about the cheapest for the chain. You are right Kandipandi the beads used in the black memory wire bracelet are black crackle glass beads, I have to admit I did love the effect of them on the finished bracelet.0 -
Sparklygirl that cuff is stunning. I would like the tutorial on if if you don't mind.0
