This is my challenge piece for this week. I started it on Monday but its been hectic with the school winding up and all the parties/displays etc. As the theme is summer holidays ive made a selections of charms that remind me of being wee and going to the seaside with my Gran and Papa plus every other holiday involved the seaside, either with my parents and sisters or friends. These are things my kids will recognize as our holidays this year and last year are all by the sea.
I always remember sandcastles, ice cream, sticks of rock, buckets and spades and ice lollies.
I plan to give this wee charm bracelet to my DD (4) she saw me making it and thinks they are all cute.
They look really fabim only into makin jewellery for now but those little charms look great! x

Kandi - sorry to hear about your week, hope things go better next week.
It's been one of those weeks for me too, so I haven't got round to making this weeks challenge, but I'd also like to join in again next week. I've loved seeing all of this week's challenges tho' well done everyone, and thanks too because MSE is such a boost when things don't go too well.0 -

:jWow Thankyou :j Yeah :j
Right I have an idea, I hope its not going to make it difficult!
This weeks theme is 'Recycled'You can make anytype of jewellery as long as its got something 'Recycled' in it. It could be recycled from an old bit of jewellery you have found & reused - 'Upcycled' I think its called now?! It could even be made using something from everyday life you wouldn't usually think of as jewellery
The whole thing doesn't have to be made up of Recycled items, just as long as theres a piece on it that is.....hope I'm making sense?
Kandipandi & Linda - hope your weekend picks up for youx
Hugs & love to all....busy day today for me...taking my mum into town, its never a quick job! Wheres I can get everything done in an hour or 2 she takes all day & I really could do with staying in today to do some housework as I'm at work tomo (10-4, overtime...why do I do it to myself?? Oh thats right for the money!) Have a great weekend everyone
xXx

Ladies your makes are so impressive!
I had a delivery from Jilly Beads today and I called into my local craft shop to pick some bits up, I'm hoping to make a supply of bracelets in order for me to sell nearer christmas. I just feel I need to move on now... How easy are the bag charms to make?
My local craft shop are holding courses there in Sept so I've put my name down for that, really looking forward to it!0 -

I think Ive paid more than that actually. So it does sound about right. You want to make sure you buy a good quality clasp (last thing you want is them breaking after a few uses).
Do you have a link to the claps you have found? that way we can advise better, or buy some too hahaha0
