They sound like depth stops for drills. You slip them over a drill bit to the depth you want and tighten up the screw. Then you you drill down, the stop lets you know when you've reached the depth you wanted.0

Just put some insulation tape around the drill bit, saves you faffing around

actually i need to fit my LCD arm bracket which needs the holes drilled to 60m depth so i migh try it out and save me judging drilling depth! Thanks for the advice and tips!0
