Opinions on UBISurfer

I have frequehtly seen this ubisurfer on the shopping channels and it "sounds" ok and wondered if anyone had ventured into aquiring one. If so, I'd be very interested on your opinion.

Not many hands-on reviews about. It is Linux not the familiar Windows. For strictly web browsing & email it may suffice.
For an extra £50 you are into cheap WinXP netbook territory. Plug an everlasting pay as you go Vodafone Dongle (£40 with £15 credit included) in and you are mobile with any standard netbook.
The Ubisurfer's main appeal for me would be that i's just about the only netbook type device in existence that has a realistic usable tariff available for using in Europe & maybe further.
