Help - Somewhere to stay in Leeds

Hi, can anyone help. I've got tickets for Robbie concert Sept 8th :dance: and i'm really struggling to find anywhere to stay (cheaply) for 1-2 nights. There's 2 of us and i wanted to stay near Roundhay Park although Leeds city centre will do.
Any ideas? or will we be sleeping on a park bench? :rotfl:

Hi ,
my OH says that a few years ago visitors to his work used to stay at the Pinewood Hotel at Chapel Allerton .
Also found the Rydal Bank hotel on Street Lane , which would be very near Roundhay Park , but don't know anything about it.Same old same old since 20080 -
the raddison and golden lion in the city centre are showing vacancies for them dates but are v expensive i tried
