Came across this from a link from (removed) (Tips to Save Petrol)

I have never heard before that water can be "burned" like gas to produce energy to power a car?

Fortune 500 petroleum companies are trying to keep this from you: Water is a POWERFUL fuel but...you need the RIGHT match to light it!

This actually works better and safer than gasoline and diesel. But what would happen to them if you knew the truth? They'd lose billions!

This can all change and you can start saving 60% on gas overnight. We will show you how to do it the right way, step by step.

What do you make of this? Not only does it sound energy efficient - but extremely economical relying on water rather than oil.

    :rotfl:

Sorry, the link I followed that got to that page actually had some good tips to save petrol. Maybe it was just a primer for the eventual scam then.

Apologies if this has no basis in science, I posted because I was genuinely interested in what it was all about.

Have also removed the link. :)

As the link has gone I don’t know what it was, I’ve seen two types, the first breaks the water down into hydrogen & oxygen using electricity, this has got to use more power than it produces so scam.

The second type injects a water spray into the intake air, I can see how this would produce more power on turbo/super charged cars as it would cool the intake air, cool air=more dense=more oxygen=more power, whether this more power could be translated into better economy I’m not so sure.
  • Don't you think that if it were feasably possible to power a car with water the car manufacturers wouldn't have built this device into their engines Duh!

Why do people fall for such obvious scams???

Cancer can be cured by eating a bag of nuts and berries, conveniently packaged for you at only $49 per month delivered straight to your door.

I would have tried the water conversion but I can no longer get in my car as I have a 3 foot long knob from eating pills I bought off t'interweb.:rolleyes:

The link is still active, the name has simply been changed to "removed"
