    Worst they can do is say no and turn you away.

    with all the extra security precautions in the last couple of days, OP using 2 US airlines, I doubt you will be going anywhere without a valid passport.

    i'm 99.99% sure that the OP's airlines they stated don't actually fly those routes themselves, and they'll probably be on a European Carriers Metal, just on an AA or United Codeshare.

    Does Eurostar require passport? OP may be able to salvage at least the accomodation part if it is possible to travel another way - or even coach?

    Nato travel order is a military passport valid in NATO countries, that and your ID works for most things - You even get to use the military personnel line entering the USA. You get one of your clerk signed by an officer (captain or above). Travelled on one for years. Belgium is a NATO member.
