Old Style Christmas Presents

Daddy came today as been snowed in, he got me a bed set for the caravan (we have kingsize at home) and another charm for my bracelet not bad as I wasn't supposed to get anything else as he got me my bracelet. He got the boys rechargable MP3 players with a car charger (saves home electric) and wind up torches for when we are away/during the night. I love my Dad

Oh I got my Dad an OS ish present, Elizabethan in fact, banquet for 2 I did some baskets this year for family with raffle/tombola prizes of toiletries, chocs, wine etc.

I have a limit as such with friends/ my family with children, we just buy for the children. Reduces the gastly 'token gift set' present opening, phew.

Im so spoilt and I cant wait to use my economy gastromy book

new year has not been kind to me so far , I have had to purchase a new freezer and I am hopefully in the process of getting the boiler fixed

So have to be even more thrifty .

As I have not yet sorted mums garden out , I am gonna start getting a veg box scheme every 2 weeks I think ...

It's interesting that the preface (and this is over 150 years ago remember!) includes the following :
