Only just received my cancel email:mad:0

I had this offer email early xmas day, I tried to buy 2 pairs but DH's size was OOS and wasn't sure if a half size would fit, the womens ones were going through at full price so I eventually ordered the ladies pair on 26th after seeing here that they were fixed and going through at £10, my confirmation shows as 23.38pm just before the offer ended. I have had a despatch email this morning with the tracking number.0

I managed to get 1 pair instore early boxing day, my store is near Next and I had gone there to get some bits for my son. My hubby also picked me up a adidas jumper for £5 in london today. Our local had sold out when I went there at 11am.0

Well I've just had a reply to my email. Basically system may have showed items there but when updated were out of stock. They can't do anything about it. I've gone straight back to them as the item has been in stock since Monday morning but not really holding out much joy.0

It stinks but there's absolutely nothing you can do except bite your lip and move on, the companies that offer these extraordinarily phenominal bargains that can afford to carry them through, even if its only to a select lucky few really don't (and reasonably cannot be expected to) give a sh*te about complaints, trading standards and snotty miss-spelled round robin template complaint letters (a la three posts above). You place your order and take a chance with no reasonable expectation of comeback when (not if) it goes tits up, you should only reasonably expect a crick in your neck from the repeated shrug of your shoulders when placing an order with a company such as this. My only concern is the risk of submitting your card details. Don't get upset, place your order in the Sports Direct lottery, you MAY get a result, if not - they don't take the money, ultimately they drove you to their website - they won - chill
