When Ripping tunes from CD I have Media Player 10 to retrieve missing info so I get the Tags show up for when I playback a tune, Only problen is that WMP10 shows the Album Art something I think is unnecessary so does anybody know how to update the Tags but without the Album Art, I may have overlooked a setting.
Also whats the best ripping software.

Can't think of a way myself, there doesn't appear to be an option to specify what information to retrieve.
Incidently, I'm using WMP 11 and I'm (surprisingly) impressed. It's layout takes awhile to get used to, but once you've got the hang of it, it's good.0 -

Are you sure you want to get rid of the Album Art?
I haven't tried Media Player 11 myself - but looking at the screenshots, it seems to play a big role:

You could try CDex - freeware and very efficient. EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is supposed to be excellent too, but I use CDex.

Used to be very good indeed - but now is not totally free, if I recall, in that I think you only get 30 days of MP3 codec use? I'm sure that could be overcome with some judicious Google searches tho'
