If you have broken down now, surely it would be better to be calling them and asking the question rather than posting on here?
    Gone ... or have I?
  • I have left it in the supermarket car park and jumped on the bus home

To tired and bah humbugged to do anything on the spot

Now had time to think about it and pondering its fate

    Thanx for the reply anyway

Yes you can - you just pay a big premium on it.

    Which supermarket is it?

Some of them have agreements with breakdown companies if you break ddown in their car parks

I'm not sure how it works - but could you join them online, give it a few days then call them out after Christmas?

Of course the supermarket might not be too happy!

You do realise that you will not be insured if anything happens to your car in the meantime?

How do you work that out?
  • Wouldn't like to leave my car in a Supermarket car park for a few days, someone might swap the wheels for some household bricks.

If the car has broken down in a Tesco car park they have an agreement with the RAC (It might be the AA) where they will assist you free of charge
