Egg money and charity card

I applied for a charity card last night after getting my Egg money card. During the sign up process I had to tell them my Egg credit limit which is £3800 but the limit on the new card I got is £6800. So now I’d like to get the full £6800 but does anyone know if they will notice if I try to make a balance transfer of £6800 to the Egg card since I have already told them the credit limit on Egg is much lower? Has anyone else done this and got away with it or is there an excuse I can use?

They won't care. I transferred approx £7000 from my Guide Dogs card to my Egg Money card when the balance on Egg Money was only a few hundred. Hope this helps0

Yep and if they ask whether the debt really exists then say you are using the egg card as a route to settle other debts (eg overdraft etc)0
