very.co.uk have a couple in the sale, dont know how good they are but were decent brands with a good saving too.0

If you establish which camera you want then use www.camerapricebuster.co.uk
it tracks prices and how theyve risen and fallen so you can also see how much you can reasonably expect them to fall.

Erm...what is the right forum for this question then? There must be over 100 different parts to this site. Anyone who can do so, feel free to move it, I've upset a couple of people. Zzz
Anyway I had a look on the Very site and most of the cameras are out of stock. I don't know much about cameras but want one where you can recharge the batteries as the ones I've used before eat 'em!
A decent brand with good battery life and at least 10mp...0 -
I've found this one 'Samsung ES19', http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0992113376.1261691641@@@@&BV_EngineID=cceladejehjjkjkcflgceggdhhmdfno.0&page=Accessory&sku=467079 seems to have good reviews and has gone from £139 to £69 on Curry's and Comet's website. Anyone know any codes for these? Seems like a bargain as it is but why pay more if you don't have to eh!0

and if you want to browse around for decent reviews before buying, check this site... out of the few digital cams i've brought, what they say about quality does match the real thing!

No need, someone feel free to delete this, just bought this one http://www0.dealtime.com/xPO-Kodak-Easyshare-C182-12MP-87849425 for £62. 12.2mp, seems like a right bargain0

Never every judge a camera on just Megapixels folks !
Quality of lens etc is probably far more important0 -
I checked out some reviews, it only came out a few months ago and people gave it 5/5 when it was £100+, to get it for £62 i'll take my chances. She's not a professional photographer, it will probably be used for hundreds of photos of drunken nights out that go on Facebook like everyone else!0

No probably about it!!!
Once you hit about 5mp there not much more advaantage to having 12mp.
A shi77y lens is like having a great CDplayer and amplifier and then putting a pair of £3.99 speakers on it.
I love people who go 'My mobile has a 6mp camera', the lens is usually the size of this full stop. A complete waste of technology.0
