Im not too fussed about certificates, however I noticed on my buying id, I had ten so I wanted to see what the other certificates were like
You get certificates for up to 5000 feedback. BTW, this thread is a little tongue in cheek
10 feedback certificate
50 feedback certificate
100 feedback certificate
500 feedback certificate
1000 feedback certificate
5000 feedback certificate
Theres nothing for 10000 and above lol. Like I said this thread is a little tongue in cheek. Oh and on my selling ID, I have just over 600 feedback. Im nowhere near one of them "shooting stars" lol

You do at least get a nice new shiny star though!

Yellow star (

Turquoise star (
) = 100 to 499 ratings
Purple star (
) = 500 to 999 ratings
Red star (
) = 1,000 to 4,999 ratings
Green star (
) = 5,000 to 9,999 ratings
Yellow shooting star (
) = 10,000 to 24,999 ratings
Turquoise shooting star (
) = 25,000 to 49,999 ratings
Purple shooting star (
) = 50,000 to 99,999 ratings
Red shooting star (
) = 100,000 to 499,000 ratings
Green shooting star (
) = 500,000 to 999,999 ratings
Silver shooting star (
) = 1,000,000 ratings or more 0 -
yup, you do lol. I never did understand why eBay chose to keep the star system. DSR's are what sellers worry about, not bloody stars
I never knew you could get a green and silver shooting star. Dont think I could ever get them in my lifetime0 -
Feedback is purely for vanity and doesn't pay the bills or even signify quality or guarantees of service.
Most people who get to 10k realise this!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
most sellers selling on ebay for at least 3 months realise that0

The certificate you need when you reach 10000 feedback is not one from ebay, but one from your therapist to prove you are still sane and fit to live among normal folk.:rotfl:0

Are you sure its not a certificate to say you have joined the eBay mental clinic in the ward where people are obsessed with feedback?0

You are close it is the certificate you get in your discharge papers from the eBay mental clinic in the ward where people are obsessed with feedback.:rotfl:waqasahmed wrote: »Are you sure its not a certificate to say you have joined the eBay mental clinic in the ward where people are obsessed with feedback?
It states that:
1. You will no longer check your ebay feedback more than twice every day not the 1000 times plus as you did before.
2. You will not hound those that have left you negative or neutral feedback by adding their email address to every mailing list you can find on the web.
3. You will no longer mutter to yourself and rock back and forth for days after recieving neutral or negative feedback.
4. You will never again just stare at your feedback page constantly refreshing it waiting for feedback to appear.
5. You have acknowledged that there is more to life than ebay and feedback and you will therefore venture out of your house and try to live a normal life.0
