How do these all work together? I'm only now finding out about the Drayton thermosat (if thats what it is).

Honeywell timer/thermosat is set to come on 7-9am and 9-11pm
Drayton thermosat is at 14' (room temp) with a set temp of 22' ish (if I've done it right)

Does the Drayton thermosat work once the timer has come on? what temps should I have on the boiler?

I'm learning as I go here, moved into the place and my boyfriend knows nothing about them and the person who does has moved out and we hardly see them. Just realising that I need to set the thermosat too lol didn't even know it was there till now. Though the temp on the boiler controlled it lol

The control on the boiler will set the temperature of the water in the radiators, this could also be the temperature of the water from the taps, but that may have a separate temperature control.

If you have a Hot Water tank(and not a combi boiler) the temperature control for tap hot water may be on the tank.

Until the timer is set to come on(7-9am etc) the controls/stat have no effect.

The 22C is for the temperature of the room - boiler shuts off when that temperature is reached and switches bak on when the temperature drops a degree or so. Not sure what the 14C is(that is cold!) It may be that at 14C the boiler will switch on even, if it is outside the timed periods.

So say at 9pm boiler comes on and heats the place to 22c?

We have a combi boiler by the way.

See I always wondered why before, the bedroom [which has exposed pipes] was like a sauna but now it's never warm and I know why - not setting the thermosat!!!
