Beware - More Than Insurance

I took out morethan home insurance on 30th november, requesting a payment date of the 1st. Instead, on the 15th December they took the money out the account (i accept due to this being my first payment this might happen), however what really annoys me is they took two payments, one for dec one for jan. I didn't anticipate this and i am now having to pay bank charges. I called to complain and the response i got was - it's in the booklet, i think this is grossly unfair, they should explicity state that they will take a double payment and when the first payment date will be if not on the day you requested it. :mad: Can they do this?
